A contrarier-style ring with nails as end pieces. The knot in this piece binds together not only the ring's two ends but also two concepts derived from different series: 'Knots' and 'Nails'. The patina which accentuates the contrasts of light and shadow unites the ring and the materials from which it is made, giving it the old-fashioned appearance one would expect to find in antique nails.
