The patinated surface of the ring highlights the chromatic contrast and finish of the parts in yellow gold. A magnet hidden in the stone's mount holds the gold sphere containing the suspended opposing pole in tension. The colours of the musk agate blend perfectly with the materials in which it is mounted.
The gold lining protects the finger from direct contact with the bronze, preventing any traces of the tin present in the bronze alloys marking the skin.
