As the size of the stones increases, the number of settings and the complexity and number of folds that form the stem shrink. In this variant of the stretch ring, only the settings have been polished, while the rest of the surface, including the folds, has been micro-hammered, the patina remaining imprisoned in the small cavities this creates.
