SEEDS 2 ring in silver, gold with rutilated quartz
‘seeds’ series
A claw setting grips a large rutilated quartz, the gold spheres housed in the silver bezel taking up the colour of the needle-like rutile inclusions. The contrast with the surface treatment of the stem, where the patina grips better, highlights the shiny spheres, and as the openings in the bezel become wider as they approach the stone, they allow more light through to illuminate the inclusions.
